Audi Asheville receives 2014 Audi Magna Society Award

Asheville, NC, March 20, 2015 – Audi Asheville received the 2014 Audi Magna Society Award, a distinction presented by Audi of America to dealers who achieved excellent performance in 2014.

 

To earn Magna Society recognition, dealers must demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service as well as strong business performance.

 

The Magna Society was created by Audi of America to identify and recognize dealerships that go above and beyond the standard business objectives and sales targets. To qualify for Magna Society status, a dealership must show that they are engaged in sales and service programs and adhere to specific business processes. Their facility and staff should also properly represent the Audi brand and culture.

Audi Asheville currently employs approximately seventy team members from its western North Carolina community. By setting high standards for itself, the Audi Asheville team has made every effort to separate themselves from the crowd. Christopher Nelson, Audi Certified Brand Specialist and Douglas Urban, Audi Elite Certified Service Consultant were both nationally recognized by Audi of America last year. Christopher Nelson was the Audi A4 National Walk-Around Champion and Douglas Urban was the Audi A3 GameChanger Champion— both of which were applied knowledge competitions. Audi Asheville was also part of a small group of dealers awarded for top performance with the introduction of the new Audi A8.

 

The Magna Society awards fit with long-range plans established by Audi of America and its franchise partners to make Audi facilities more exclusive. In 2014, the number of dealership locations exclusively selling Audi models increased by the end of the year to 173 in the U.S. from 15 dealerships operating in 1999. Audi also increased its share of the U.S. imported luxury car segment to 10.9% based on record annual U.S. sales of 182,011 units in 2014.
